Andrea Trinchieri agreed on principal with Bayern Munich to become the club’s new head coach, as reported by nova.rs and confirmed by Eurohoops.
Trinchieri, who spent the last two seasons with Partizan, did not accept to take a 20% pay cut due to an overall reduction of the Serbian club’s budget in the new season, per Nova.
The Italian coach used the opt-out option of the three-year deal he signed with the club back in 2018. He will get the chance to coach in EuroLeague in the 2020-21 season.
