The Houston Rockets lost to the LA Clippers on the road (115-112) and suffered their second defeat in the first three games (1-2).

Tobias Harris led the Clippers in scoring, with 23 points. Danilo Gallinari also played very well and ended the game with 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists.

On the other hand, James Harden had a game-high 31 points for Houston, which played without Chris Paul, due to his two-game suspension by the NBA.

Clint Capela contributed 23 points and six boards. Eric Gordon posted 21 points for the losing squad, on 5/8 from beyond the arc.

The Clippers were in front by just one at halftime (54-53), but extended their lead to nine at the end of the third quarter (93-84), as they outscored their opponents 39-31. The Rockets tried to come back in the fourth quarter, but they came up short and were defeated (115-112).
