According to Stefano Fusaro from ESPN, a 29-year-old small forward Jimmy Butler was offered to the Houston Rockets in exchange for forward P.J. Tucker and shooting guard Eric Gordon.

The Rockets are ready to trade Eric Gordon, but not willing to part with P.J. Tucker, who is known as an excellent specialist of defence. This summer the Rockets lost two solid defenders – Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute – therefore loosing the third one, would be too much for team’s defence.

Last season Eric Gordon averaged 18.0 points and 2.5 boards, meanwhile, P.J. Tucker averaged 6.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
