According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, former NBA player and now the Phoenix Suns Vice President of Basketball Operations, James Jones, might become the new Suns General Manager over Ryan McDonough who was fired several days ago.

At the moment James Jones is an interim the Suns General Manager, but team’s owner, Robert Sarver, see him as a full-time GM.

As the basketball player, James Jones playing alongside LeBron James won three NBA titles – in 2012, 2013 with the Heat and in 2016 with the Cavaliers. During his 14-year career Jones was averaging 5.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 assist per game, while shooting at 40.1 percent from the floor.
