The Miami Heat face a setback in their do-or-die play-in game against the Chicago Bulls as key players Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier are sidelined with injuries.

The absence of Butler, who has a right MCL sprain, and Rozier, who is dealing with a neck injury, leaves the Heat without two crucial contributors for the pivotal matchup.

This announcement comes as a blow to the Heat’s playoff aspirations, as they vie for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Without Butler, who averaged 20.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5 assists per game this season, and Rozier, who contributed 16.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, the Heat will face an uphill battle against the Bulls.

The winner of this game will secure the final spot in the playoffs and advance to face the Boston Celtics in the first round.
