Croatian side KK Zadar officially announced the signing of former NBA champion Glen “Big Baby” Davis for the upcoming season.

Davis was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics with the 35th overall pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Soon he was traded to the Boston Celtics, with whom he won the NBA title in 2008.

During his NBA career Davis played for the Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Clippers. In 9 seasons in NBA Davis averaged 8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.

It is a return to professional basketball for the 32-year-old center who has put his basketball career “on hold” as he ventured into film production in November 2016.

Zadar will compete in Croatian League as well as in Adriatic League the coming season.
