Chicago Bulls power forward, Lauri Markkanen, suffered an elbow injury and will miss the start of the season.

The 21-year-old player underwent an MRI and now has to deal with a high grade lateral elbow sprain. Markkanen will be sidelined for the next six to eight weeks.

The Bulls will visit Philadelphia to play against the 76ers in the season opener on October 18.
