Matthew Nielsen arrived at Valencia to pass his medical before signing a contract with Pamesa. Australian power forward will replace Dimos Dikoudis who was released a few weeks ago. Nielsen arrives from Lietuvos Rytas where he spent three seasons.
The main reason of his departure was the sie of his contract. Nielsen was the most paid Rytas player. The decision was made to let the player go and take the buy-out in order to avoid financial problems later this season.
