Euroleague Group A co-leaders Cibona Zagreb could lose their top scorer Rawle Marshall. American forward was involved in the fight with Sinisa Stemberger in the Adriatic league against Split. 26-year-old was provoked by Stemberger and decided to show his fighting skills.
The authorities of the Adriatic league will consider what punishment should be given to Marshall. In the worst case scenario he could be suspended for several months.
Sinisa Stemberger should also receive sanctions for his racial insults towards Rawle Marshall.
The worst thing for Cibona is that the penalty would also apply to Euroleague games. Marchall averaged 17.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in the top level club competition in Europe.
