Fenerbahce president, Ali Koc, spoke with the club’s official magazine and referred to the team’s financial problems as well as the departure of Dogus and its sponsorship.
“As far as the squad is concerned, we do our best to start the season without being affected by the current financial situation and the departure of Dogus and its sponsorship. We hope we will again be proud at the end of the season,” Koc said.
The 51-year-old businessman also revealed that the club has to pay $450M in the next 12 months to reduce their immensely high debt.
