The Toronto Raptors announced today the acquisition of big man Greg Monroe.
The 28-year-old center, who signed an one-year contract with the Raptors, averaged 10.3 points and 6.9 rebounds in 51 games with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Phoenix Suns and the Boston Celtics last season.
Monroe also appeared in 11 postseason games with the Celtics, averaging 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds in 9.5 minutes of action.
