According to Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops.net, Olympiacos owners, Panagiotis and Giorgos Aggelopoulos, will meet the club’s new head coach, David Blatt, in Israel to formulate their strategy ahead of the new season.

Due to a back surgery, the experienced coach was unable to come to Athens, so the club’s owners went to Tel-Aviv to meet Blatt in person.

Their discussion is expected to revolve around the changes that will take place in the roster, as many players will be let go, as well as the budget and Blatt’s plan regarding the squad’s playing style.

The 59-year-old coach, who led Maccabi Tel-Aviv to the Euroleague title in 2014, signed a two-year contract with the “Reds” and replaced Giannis Sfairopoulos, who was let go after spending four years in the team’s bench.
