Lithuanian big man Donatas Motiejunas has been rumoured to sign with Liga Endesa giants Barcelona once the season in China concludes.

Motiejunas is playing with Shandong in China, averaging 23.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game as his side are in the latter stages of the playoffs over there.

His signing will no doubt benefit Barcelona, who are currently laying in third behind their rivals Real Madrid and Baskonia in the Spanish league table, having lost their last encounter 100-95 to Estudiantes.

They have been eliminated from the EuroLeague, with their final game on Thursday seeing them beat Khimki 86-82.

They face a tricky road game on Sunday when they face off against Gran Canaria in round 26 with eight games remaining following that.
