In the midst of the Blake Griffin blockbuster trade to Detroit Pistons, Serbian center Boban Marjanovic is part of the clan that will head to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The 7’3” giant, who was fondly remembered for his time with Crvena Zvezda before heading to the NBA in 2015 is averaging 6.2 points and 3.0 rebounds with the Pistons.

He is averaging 5.6 points and 3.5 rebounds in just nine minutes a game for his NBA career, where he has mainly provided a cameo off the bench.

Along with Griffin, who is no doubt the centrepiece of the deal, the Pistons will acquire Brice Johnson and Willie Reed.

The Clippers of course get Marjanovic, Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, a protected 2018 first-round pick and 2019 second-round pick.
