There were no notable moves in the FIBA world rankings after the first set of World Cup qualifying games but Kosovo benefited despite two losing efforts in November.

Still relatively new to the international scene, Kosovo climbed ten places into 86th, the biggest climb of any nation in the latest rankings.

Lithuania moved one place into fifth, dropping Argentina into sixth as the Baltic nation enjoyed an undefeated start to the qualifiers.

That was the only notable move in the top ten with United States of America still leading the way and Spain in second.
