Kyrylo Fesenko out of EuroBasket for Ukraine

Ukraine captain Kyrylo Fesenko has been ruled out of this month’s Eurobasket with a knee injury.

The 30-year-old Fesenko will require surgery to fix the knee and he scheduled to be out for a minimum of a month.

Fesenko’s absence along with naturalised guard Pooh Jeter, who will not participate leaves Ukraine in a disastrous situation for Eurobasket where they will be housed in Tel Aviv, alongside Lithuania, Italy, Germany, Georgia and hosts Israel.
