Check out this hilarious back-and-forth between Atlanta Hawks and Gran Canaria who are seemingly fighting over Swedish international Marcus Erikssen.
The Swede hit 25 points to guide Sweden to a FIBA World Cup pre-qualifying win over Bosnia & Herzegovina. Which prompted the Swedish basketball Twitter feed to include the Hawks in a tweet highlighting Erikssen’s haul in a video package.
Erikssen was a late second round pick by the Hawks in 2015 but is playing for Gran Canaria.
The Spanish side came up with an excellent comeback that even the Hawks appreciated.

"2015 second round pick" sounds good.
We prefer "Herbalife Gran Canaria new player" tho. pic.twitter.com/dwP0brlpxi— Herbalife Gran Canaria (@GranCanariaCB) August 3, 2017
