Valencia Basket signed top Icelandic prospect Tryggvi Hlinason to a four-year deal on Monday. Hlinason (2.15 meters, 19 years old) arrives from Thor AK Akureyri, where he averaged 11.6 points on 66.3% two-point shooting and 8.0 rebounds in 25 Icelandic League games last season. He also led the competition in blocks with 2.7 per game.
Hlinasson is a member of the Icelandic national team and is set to make his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut next season.
