Leo Westermann will embark on a journey to Moscow as the French guard will join CSKA this off-season. That means his time with Lithuanian champions Zalgiris has come to an end.
Westermann ended his tenure at Zalgiris with an LKL championship title.
“Zalgiris offered me the possibility to touch the high level of European basketball,” Westermann wrote on his Instagram post. “I’ll always be thankful for the opportunity this club gave me.”
The 24-year-old will join CSKA Moscow in the summer as they have lost Aaron Jackson and are still uncertain over the future of Milos Teodosic.
