It has been widely reported that Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv’s Maik Zirbes will be loaned out to EuroCup side Bayern Munich.

The German international has only started two games for Maccabi in the EuroLeague this season, averaging a solid 8.1 points a game. However, while Zirbes’ minutes have come in at 15 minutes a game, he needs more playing time.

∞∞∞ RANDLE RETURNS TO JERUSALEM ∞∞∞

Roughly an hour away from Tel Aviv, Hapoel Jerusalem have completed the signing of power forward of veteran power forward Brian Randle.

He has spent most of his professional career in Israel, where he last suited up for Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv as well as Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Gilboa Galil, which he helped win the 2010 Israeli League crown.

Known as an elite defender, Randle has averaged 11.6 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.5 blocks over 30 EuroCup games in four seasons with Jerusalem, Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv. In just his two EuroCup seasons with Jerusalem, Randle posted 13 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.9 blocks.
