FC Barcelona earned another home win and remained on top of the EuroLeaugue standings after Round 14.

At “Palau Blaugrana”, FC Barcelona dominated Khimki (87-74) and improved to 11-3, tied with CSKA Moscow on top of the table. For its part, Khimki lost its sixth straight and dropped to 2-12.

In Piraeus, Valencia defeated Olympiacos for the first time since 2003 (85-96) and put an end to a nine-game losing streak against the “Reds”. The Spaniards improved to 9-5, whereas Olympiacos fell to 7-6.

Zenit Saint Petersburg came back from a double-digit deficit early in the third quarter (38-51) and edged Bayern Munich at home (79-75). The Russians improved to 8-4 and are one win behind the Bavarians, who dropped to 9-5.

ASVEL Villeurbanne set a new club record with 33 made two-pointers (33/49) and survived a late thriller against Maccabi tel-Aviv (84-81). The Israelis had the chance to tie the game and force an overtime, yet Scottie Wilbekin missed the three-pointer at the buzzer.

ASVEL snapped a three-game losing streak and now is at 4-9. Meanwhile, Maccabi dropped to 5-9.
