Clutch plays by Tyrese Rice and Sasa Vezenkov though made sure that Barca remained in the top two of the league with Real Madrid still leading the way after they thumped Rio Monbus 106-59 thanks to 23 points from Jaycee Carroll.

Rounding up the top three is Valencia who eased past fellow playoff contenders Tenerife 74-58 thanks to solid defence, holding Tenerife to just four three-pointers on 28 attempts.

Baskonia, currently in fourth place had a week off.
