The Golden State Warriors reportedly explored the possibility of trading Jimmy Butler and draft assets for Anthony Davis but ultimately decided against making the move.

According to Logan Murdock, some members of the Warriors’ front office supported pursuing Davis during Summer League in Las Vegas.

However, concerns about the veteran big man’s durability and his desire for a new contract extension convinced the organization to keep its current roster intact.
