Mario Hezonja appears set to make his return to the NBA, with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors emerging as two of the teams interested in signing the veteran forward.

According to reports, Hezonja has informed Real Madrid that he plans to leave Europe and resume his NBA career after six seasons overseas.

The 31-year-old previously spent five years in the NBA, suiting up for the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks and Portland Trail Blazers before continuing his career in Europe.

He later played one season each in Greece and Russia before joining Real Madrid, where he spent the past four years.

Hezonja enjoyed another productive campaign last season, averaging 15.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists while shooting 44.4 percent from the field in 80 games across EuroLeague and domestic competition.
