Free agent guard Johnny Davis has signed with Manisa Basket of Turkey, the club announced.
The move marks a new chapter for the 24-year-old after spending parts of three seasons in the NBA and the 2025/26 campaign in the G League.
Selected 10th overall by the Wizards in the 2022 NBA Draft, Davis struggled to establish himself at the NBA level.
He appeared in 112 games for Washington before being traded to Memphis in February 2025. The Grizzlies waived him later that month, and he has not returned to the NBA since.
Davis entered the league with high expectations following a standout sophomore season at Wisconsin, where he earned consensus first-team All-American honors and was named Big Ten Player of the Year.
However, he averaged just 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game with the Wizards while shooting .397 from the field, .273 from three, and .561 from the free-throw line.
Last season, Davis played for the Wisconsin Herd in the G League, averaging 15.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 steals in 27 games while shooting .459/.356/.680.
His deal with Manisa Basket will be Davis’ first opportunity to play professionally outside the United States.
The club competes in Turkey’s top-tier Basketball Super League.
