Zalgiris Kaunas has reportedly made a significant offer to Carsen Edwards as the club looks to add one of Europe’s top scorers to its roster.

According to the report, the proposed salary is just under $2 million, showing Zalgiris’ interest in signing the former Purdue standout.

Selected 33rd overall by the Celtics in the 2019 NBA Draft, Edwards spent parts of three seasons in the NBA with Boston and Detroit.

He appeared in 68 NBA games, averaging 3.6 points per contest before continuing his career overseas.

Edwards is coming off a productive season with Virtus Bologna, averaging 17.0 points per game in Italy’s LBA and 17.3 points in EuroLeague competition.
