Before Game 3, Mike Brown spoke about the impact Mikal Bridges has made for the New York Knicks and credited the organization for aggressively pursuing the versatile wing.

“It starts with Mr. Dolan because he’s willing to spend money,” Brown said, referring to Knicks owner James Dolan.

The head coach also praised team president Leon Rose and the front office for identifying Bridges as an ideal two-way fit for the roster.

“They identified Mikal as a two-way player and they went and got him,” Brown said.

Bridges has played 8 seasons for the Suns, Knicks, and Nets. He has averaged 14.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists in 638 regular-season games.
