Washington Wizards big man Anthony Davis laid out a clear checklist for what he still wants to accomplish before calling it a career: reaching the 20-year mark in the league, earning both MVP and Defensive Player of the Year honors, and capturing another NBA title.

“I haven’t got MVP. I haven’t got Defensive Player of the Year. I want the parade for a championship, so I want to be able to do that again … it’s still things I want to try to get. I want to get 20,000 points. I want to play 20 years.”

Davis has played 14 seasons for the Pelicans, Lakers, and Mavericks. He has averaged 24.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.3 blocks in 807 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 10 All-Star games, and has won 1 NBA championship.
