Center Aday Mara from the Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball had declared as an Early Entry Candidate for the 2026 NBA Draft, joined by teammates Morez Johnson Jr. and Elliot Cadeau.

Senior forward Yaxel Lendeborg had also entered the draft after helping Michigan secure the 2026 NCAA championship.

Mara had been a regular starter, opening 39 of 40 games during his junior season while averaging 12.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.6 blocks per game.

Johnson, a sophomore forward, started all 40 games and posted averages of 13.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks.

Cadeau, a point guard who transferred from North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball, also started every game, contributing 10.5 points, 5.8 assists, and 2.7 rebounds.

Among the group, Mara, Lendeborg, and Johnson had been projected as first-round selections, ranking No. 12, 13, and 24 respectively on ESPN’s Top 100 prospects list, while Cadeau was listed at No. 68.
