The NBA and G League announced that five players have received call-ups from the G League Elite Camp to participate in the NBA Draft Combine.

The group includes Rafael Castro, Jacob Cofie, Bryce Hopkins, Trey Kaufman-Renn and Aaron Nkrumah.

The NBA Draft Combine gives prospects another opportunity to perform in front of league executives, scouts and coaches ahead of the draft process, and strong showings there can significantly improve a player’s draft stock.

Rafael Castro, a 6-foot-11 center from George Washington, earned his invitation after averaging 15.3 points on 62.7% shooting, along with 9.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.7 blocks per game during his senior season.

USC sophomore Jacob Cofie also advanced to the combine after posting averages of 9.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game for the Trojans.

Bryce Hopkins, who completed his collegiate career at St. John’s, averaged 13.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game as a senior for the Red Storm.
