Victor Wembanyama questionable for Game 4

The San Antonio Spurs continued to monitor Victor Wembanyama, who remained in the NBA’s concussion protocol and was listed as questionable for Game 4 of their first-round matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

San Antonio held a 2-1 advantage in the series heading into the next game in Portland.

“We are still working through the process and continuing to work with the NBA,” Spurs coach Mitch Johnson said regarding Wembanyama’s status.

The young center had participated in most of his pregame routine before ultimately being ruled out of Game 3.

To return, he still needed to meet the league’s concussion protocol requirements, including being completely symptom-free before receiving clearance.
