New Orleans Pelicans veteran Saddiq Bey spoke proudly of Yves Missi’s productive night after Sunday’s 112-108 home loss vs. the Orlando Magic (18 points/4 offensive rebounds/9 defensive rebounds/3 assists/4 blocks/8-9 FG/2-4 FT/+1 +/- in just under 40 minutes at starting center).

Andrew Lopez: “What does it say about the game that Yves was able to have? It just seems like he’s been trying to add so much to his offensive game throughout the year. We obviously know what he can do on the defensive end, but just what was it like watching him have a game like that?”

Bey: “Yeah, man. I’m personally not surprised, but I’m proud of him. He brings so much to the team, man. Some of the blocks that he gets and dunks is… I’ve never seen it before in person. And so, it’s a blessing to be able to be on the same team as him and he plays hard every night.”
