The Sacramento Kings face a major challenge heading into Wednesday night’s game at Scotiabank Arena, with several starters sidelined.
Patrick Baldwin Jr., Drew Eubanks, De’Andre Hunter, Zach LaVine, Keegan Murray, Domantas Sabonis, and Russell Westbrook are all listed as out, leaving Sacramento without most of its core contributors. Two-way players DaQuan Jeffries and Isaiah Stevens are also out.
Toronto enters the matchup with a lighter injury load but will monitor Scottie Barnes, who is questionable with a left shoulder contusion. Jamison Battle, Brandon Ingram, and Immanuel Quickley remain out.
Sacramento’s absence of LaVine and Sabonis removes two of its top scorers and primary playmakers. LaVine had been averaging 19.2 points and 2.3 assists over 39 games, while Sabonis contributed 15.8 points and 11.4 rebounds when on the floor. Murray, a 14-point-per-game contributor, will also miss his third straight contest.
Toronto’s missing wing Ingram, who averages 21.4 points and 5.5 rebounds, and Quickley, contributing 16.9 points and 6.0 assists, removes key scoring and ball-handling options. Barnes’ status will be closely watched, as he provides defensive versatility and 18.4 points per game.
The Kings have struggled on the road this season with a 6-32 record, while the Raptors maintain a 21-17 home mark, giving Toronto a clear statistical advantage.
Game time is set for 7:00 PM CT at Scotiabank Arena.
