Here’s Washington Wizards head coach Brian Keefe on the productive play of undrafted two-way rookie Julian Reese after Wednesday’s 133-110 road win vs. the Utah Jazz (26 points/5 offensive rebounds/12 defensive rebounds/1 steal/1 block/12-16 FG/2-4 FT/+7 +/- in 30 minutes at starting center).

*set career-highs in points, defensive rebounds, field goals made, field goal attempts, and plus-minus*

*averaging 12.0 PPG/4.0 ORB/6.7 DRB/1.5 APG/1.0 SPG/0.5 BPG/65.1% FG/72.7% FT/29.7 MPG in six games played*

“He’s adapted really quickly to what we’re doing, first of all. So, credit to him. A lot of other guys who’ve joined our team have come up through our system through the Go-Go and stuff, and he’s kinda fit in seamlessly. You see what he does with the rebounding, the offensive boards, his finishing around the rim, and he’s been a pretty good anchor defensively for just learning our stuff on the fly a little bit. He’s been productive in every game he’s played.”
