Florito Maniego of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that Draymond Green addressed the narrative surrounding the Golden State Warriors’ season on his podcast, rejecting the idea that it has been “cursed.”

Instead, Green emphasized that there have still been positive developments despite the team’s setbacks, highlighting the emergence of forward Gui Santos as one of those encouraging stories.

Green pointed to Santos securing “life-changing money” as a major bright spot, following the Brazilian forward’s three-year, $15 million contract extension signed last month.

Santos recently spoke with Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints about his path to the NBA, including his upbringing in Brazil, the transition to living in the United States, his progress into a role within the Warriors’ rotation, and the significance of earning his new deal.
