Washington Wizards head coach Brian Keefe talked about if he thinks there’s any buzz around Alex Sarr to make the 2026 NBA All-Star Game following Sunday’s 116-112 home win vs. the Memphis Grizzlies (20 points/9 rebounds/1 assist/2 steals/6 blocks/9-20 FG/1-6 3-PT/1-1 FT/+2 +/-).

*set career-high in blocks*

*averaging 18.2 PPG/8.3 RPG/2.9 APG/0.8 SPG/2.2 BPG/51.0% FG/55.4% 2-PT/35.3% 3-PT/65.2% FT through 21 starts*

“I think he’s putting up those type of numbers, personally. Where he ranks for centers in the Eastern Conference in terms of points, assists, blocks — he’s doing it up there with the top level with everybody. He would probably rank in the top three in all those categories, which is pretty high-level for a guy in his second year. He’s continuing to get better, and I know he just wants to keep pushing himself — that’s what we’re gonna do with him every day and we’re seeing the growth on both ends of the floor. He really impacted the game with his defense, and that was huge winning plays to him tonight. So yes, I do. I think he’s on track for that.”
