The Milwaukee Bucks signed forward Pete Nance to a three-year, $5.81 million contract using part of their room exception after promoting him to the 15-man roster, Hoops Rumors confirms.
The deal is richer than a standard minimum contract in both its first-year salary and total length.
Milwaukee had already used about $5.13 million of that exception to re-sign Kevin Porter Jr. last offseason, and although the remaining amount has been decreasing since January 10, enough was still available to finalize Nance’s deal.
Nance will earn $600,000 for the rest of this season, well above his prorated minimum of $277,137.
However, the final two years come with no guarantees: he’s slated to make a non-guaranteed $2,497,812 in 2026/27, along with a non-guaranteed team option worth $2,707,612 for 2027/28.
His 2026/27 salary becomes guaranteed if he remains under contract through July 4, 2026.
