The Philadelphia 76ers have signed forward Pete Nance to a two-way contract, according to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps. Nance, the younger brother of Atlanta Hawks forward Larry Nance Jr., had been playing for the Cleveland Charge in the G League.
Nance has impressed in the G League this season, averaging 18.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists over eight games while logging 34.5 minutes per contest. His all-around performance has drawn attention as he transitions back into the NBA with the 76ers.
Nance brings limited NBA experience, having played in eight games for the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2023-24 season. During those appearances, he averaged just 0.4 points in 3.4 minutes per game.
To make space for Nance, the Sixers have waived Lester Quinones, according to Michael Scotto.
