The Indiana Pacers will visit the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, March 21 at Frost Bank Center with a heavily depleted roster.
Tyrese Haliburton (right Achilles tear) and Johnny Furphy (right ACL tear) are both out, while center Ivica Zubac is sidelined with a fractured rib.
Indiana’s injury report lists an additional 11 players as questionable, including Andrew Nembhard (right calf contusion), Pascal Siakam (right knee sprain), Aaron Nesmith (right ankle), T.J. McConnell (right hamstring), and Quenton Jackson (right calf). G League and two-way players—Taelon Peter, Jalen Slawson, Ethan Thompson, and Obi Toppin—along with Micah Potter (right triceps) and Ben Sheppard (left ankle) are also uncertain for the matchup.
The Spurs enter Saturday with a mostly healthy squad. Victor Wembanyama is questionable with right ankle soreness, while Stephon Castle is out due to right hip tightness. Three two-way players—Harrison Ingram, David Jones Garcia, and Emanuel Miller—are also inactive.
Indiana’s struggling campaign continues with a 15-55 record and a 15-game losing streak. They most recently fell 119-127 to the Portland Trail Blazers on March 18 and 110-136 at New York on March 17.
The Spurs have won their last two contests, edging the Phoenix Suns 101-100 on March 19 and defeating the Sacramento Kings 132-104 on March 17, maintaining a 52-18 record and the second seed in the Western Conference.
