The Portland Trail Blazers survived the Pacers 127-119, extending Indiana’s longest losing streak in its franchise history to 15 games on Wednesday night.

Deni Avdija had 32 points and 11 rebounds while Donovan Clingan added a career-high 28 points and 13 boards for the Blazers.

Portland won for the third time in four games, remaining in the 10th seed and close to clinching a Western Conference play-in spot.

On the other hand, Ivica Zubac led the injury-riddled Pacers with 18 points, and Jalen Slawson had 17 points, seven rebounds, and four blocks.

Meanwhile, four-time All-Star Pascal Siakam missed his sixth straight with a sprained right knee.

The Trail Blazers never trailed and were in control all night, though the Pacers turned the tables late by charging back from a 115-98 cushion with 7:17 left to cut it to 120-117 with 1:52 to go.

Indiana missed a layup and triple in the final 1 minute while Jrue Holiday sank from distance and Advdija made two free throws to close it out.

Portland took control quickly, using a 7-0 run to extend a four-point lead to 31-20 and still led 79-62 at the half.

The Pacers closed to 82-72 early in the third only to see Portland answer with nine straight to pull back out to 91-72.

Up next: the Trail Blazers will visit Minnesota on Friday, while the Pacers visit San Antonio on Saturday.
