The Indiana Pacers dismantled the San Antonio Spurs 136-98 in the second NBA Paris Games matchup on Saturday. The Pacers bounced back from Thursday’s loss with a statement performance that left no doubt about their dominance.

Indiana’s offensive firepower was on full display, led by Tyrese Haliburton, who contributed 28 points, six three-pointers, and four assists. Pascal Siakam added a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Bennedict Mathurin chipped in 13 points to keep the scoring balanced.

The Pacers outscored San Antonio in every quarter, building on a 65-50 halftime lead and pulling away with a 36-12 fourth-quarter explosion. Their efficient shooting, including 52% from the field and 43.6% from beyond the arc, was a key factor in the victory. Indiana also limited its turnovers to just 10, ensuring the Spurs couldn’t capitalize on mistakes.

The Spurs struggled offensively, shooting only 41.2% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range. Victor Wembanyama, the 21-year-old French phenom, led San Antonio with 20 points and 12 rebounds. However, his efforts were not enough to counter Indiana’s relentless attack. Devin Vassell, a standout in Thursday’s win, was held to just six points, while Harrison Barnes managed 25 points but had little support from the rest of the roster.

Indiana’s defense was equally impressive, holding the Spurs to just 12 points in the final quarter. The Pacers’ bench played a crucial role, contributing 43 points, with T.J. McConnell and Thomas Bryant combining for 22 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pacers improved to 26-20 on the season and remain in contention for a top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Spurs, now 20-24, will need to regroup quickly as they face a challenging schedule ahead.
