Head coach of Polish champions Asseco Prokom, Tomas Pacesas is now having holiday at home in Lithuania. He gave a short interview to the website basketnews.lt and confirmed that his team is seriously interested in landing Paulius Jankunas. Pacesas talked about the possibility of signing the player with Jankunas himself already.
It was reported that Unicaja also wanted Jankunas. But lately the reports calmed down as the player has more than one offer and is considering his options.
Tomas Pacesas revealed that he has also talked with Simas Jasaitis about a potential move to Poland. Jasaitis is now a free agent after his contract with DKV Joventut expired this summer.
Asseco Prokom is set to increase their budget compared to last season which gives them more options in the transfer market.
