The Denver Nuggets signed forward David Roddy to a two-way NBA contract, according to Shams Charania, adding depth to the team’s wing rotation late in the 2025-26 season.
Roddy, a 2022 first-round pick, joins Denver from the Raptors 905 of the G League, where he averaged 9.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over 14 games.
Roddy, 24, has appeared in 168 NBA games across three seasons, posting 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest while shooting 42.1% from the field and 30.2% from three-point range.
The forward’s most productive NBA stint came with Memphis in 2023-24, when he averaged 8.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 23.2 minutes over 48 games.
Subsequent appearances with Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Houston provided limited minutes, but his G League performance this season highlighted improved efficiency and playmaking.
Denver currently sits 5th in the Western Conference at 38-24, navigating a competitive playoff race.
