Johnny Juzang has signed with Russian club Zenit BC after being waived by the Timberwolves 10 days ago.

His deal with the St. Petersburg-based organization runs through the remainder of the 2025/26 season, according to Sportando.

A Los Angeles native who played one college season at Kentucky and two at UCLA, Juzang went undrafted in 2022.

He began his NBA career on two-way contracts with Utah and later earned a multiyear standard deal with the Jazz in August 2024, though only the first season was guaranteed.

Utah waived him in June 2025.

Juzang then signed an Exhibit 10 contract with Minnesota for training camp and was promoted to a two-way deal after a strong preseason.

The Timberwolves released him after he reached his 50-game active limit.

He appeared in 21 games this season, totaling 88 minutes and mostly playing in limited or late-game situations.

Over four NBA seasons, Juzang played in 123 games, averaging 6.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in 16.0 minutes per contest while shooting .421/.358/.785.

The move to Zenit marks his first experience playing overseas.
