Heat swingman Myron Gardner will earn a prorated minimum salary of $395,029 for the remainder of the 2025/26 season after having his two-way contract converted to a standard deal.
Because the new agreement extends beyond this season, Miami was required to use a portion of its non-taxpayer mid-level exception to finalize the contract.
Gardner’s deal includes two additional seasons.
The second year carries a partial guarantee worth $500K, and he would receive his full $2,150,917 salary for the 2026/27 season if he remains on the roster through January 7, according to Hoops Rumors.
The third year of the contract is fully non-guaranteed, though Gardner would secure the full $2,525,901 salary if he is not waived on or before July 15, 2027.
Gardner joined the Heat for the 2025 Summer League and signed a two-way contract on July 25, 2025.
This season, he has appeared in 26 games, averaging 4.2 points, three rebounds, and one assist in 9.8 minutes per contest.
The Heat used a portion of their mid-level exception to promote Myron Gardner to a three-year standard contract, plus more contract details from around the NBA. https://t.co/SGlz7lK2mn
