
The Miami Heat have reached a three-year agreement with swingman Myron Gardner, according to NBA insider Chris Haynes. Gardner’s agent, Jake Cohen of Iconic Sports Management, confirmed the deal Wednesday.
Gardner, 24, went undrafted in 2023 and started his professional career with the Osceola Magic, averaging 5.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 15.4 minutes over 47 games.
He had a brief stint with the Orlando Magic for the 2024 Summer League and signed with the team in September 2024, but was waived before returning to Osceola.
Gardner joined the Heat for the 2025 Summer League and signed a two-way contract on July 25, 2025. This season, he has appeared in 26 games, averaging 4.2 points, three rebounds, and one assist in 9.8 minutes per contest.
He has shot 46.4% from the field and 40% from three-point range while posting a 57.1% effective field goal percentage.
Miami’s roster is anchored by Norman Powell, who leads the team with 23 points per game, and Tyler Herro, averaging 21.9 points. Bam Adebayo contributes 18.4 points and 9.9 rebounds, while Andrew Wiggins and Jaime Jaquez Jr. provide scoring and wing depth.
The Heat currently sit eighth in the Eastern Conference with a 29-27 record, 5-5 over their last 10 games.
