The Miami Heat have signed guard Trevor Keels to a two-way contract, adding him to the organization after his strong performance at the G League level.
Keels, who initially joined the Heat on September 11, has spent the season with Miami’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
He started all 22 regular-season games he played for the team, averaging 20.3 points, 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.14 steals across 34.4 minutes per game.
He also shot efficiently, posting percentages of 46.2 from the field, 39.4 from three-point range, and 74.3 from the free-throw line.
His play earned league recognition, including a G League Player of the Week honor. Keels was originally selected in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft, going 42nd overall to the New York Knicks.
