The Timberwolves have added promising talent to their training camp roster by reaching an agreement with Trevor Keels, a former McDonald’s All-American from Duke, according to a tweet by John Krawczynski of The Athletic.

Keels was selected as the 42nd overall pick by the Knicks in the 2022 NBA draft. Last season, he signed a two-way contract with the Knicks and later had a brief stint with the team before returning to the NBA G League with the Westchester Knicks.

During his time in the G League, Keels averaged 14.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in 31.3 minutes of play.
