Nic Claxton suffered a pinky finger injury during Friday night’s double-overtime loss to the Boston Celtics and said he is scheduled to undergo imaging on Saturday.

Brooklyn Nets big man shared the update with reporters after the game, including Brian Lewis of The New York Post.

Before tipoff, Claxton was also asked about his name surfacing in trade rumors and whether he has spoken directly with Nets general manager Sean Marks, according to Lewis.

Claxton acknowledged the speculation but made it clear that he is focused on his role with the team and leaving contract matters to his representatives.

“I’ve almost been traded before,” he said. “Sean, he has an open-door policy. You can always go talk to him whenever you want; but that’s for my agents to take care of. I’m just here as long as I’m here.”
