Dallas Mavericks wing Klay Thompson continues to climb the NBA record books, adding to an already memorable week, according to Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News.

On Thursday, Thompson moved past Damian Lillard into fourth place on the league’s all-time three-pointers made list, then followed that up with another personal milestone on Saturday.

In the win, the player poured in 23 points while shooting 7-of-11 from the field in just 20 minutes of action, pushing his career scoring total beyond the 17,000-point mark.

Reflecting on the stretch, Thompson emphasized how much more meaningful the achievements feel when they come alongside team success.

“It’s been awesome, especially when I shoot the ball well and we win. What a nice combo,” he said of his historic week.
